Chelsea Dionisio and friend at a wrestling event

My passion for wrestling outshines any other interest I have ever had. So, it just made sense to continue this passion at the next level in college. Through this sport, I have learned many lessons, not only in wrestling, but also in life.

Why North Dakota?

When I made the decision to sign with the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½app, many of my close friends and family would ask, “Why would you go to North Dakota?â€ Not once have I regretted my decision.

Although wrestling is what brought me to North Dakota, it isn’t the only thing that’s kept me here. The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½app isn’t about the sights you get to see or the things you get to do; for me, it’s about the people you get to meet.

More than a number

I’ve encountered some of the funniest, kindest, and purest people in the past four years, and I’m convinced that nowhere else exists with these high of quality individuals – from the administrators to the coaches to the students…and everyone in between.

I have always felt more than just a number. Although many have come and gone in my time here, they have all positively influenced my life and built me into the person I am today.

It’s these relationships that have defined my experiences at UJ, and I also think they embody what it means to be a Jimmie – not only supporting each other, but also making sure everyone is on their way to being the best person they can be.

I don’t know how to thank UJ enough for surrounding me with so many wonderful people on this crazy journey.
